No matter who says what, shoes and pants are the most important items in a girl's wardrobe. Every girl knows that. There's probably not a single girl who doesn't have at least a pair of pants in her closet. Cargo pants, skinny jeans, classic jeans, mom jeans, chino pants, sweatpants, leggings... and we could go on forever. Imagine, though, that it was once socially unacceptable for a lady to wear pants. Did you know that the first women's trousers weren't made until women started playing sports? That was more accurately in the second half of the 19th century, by which time it was almost unthinkable for women to wear underpants under a layered skirt. Fortunately, women started cycling, started hiking, and here skirts or dresses were quite impractical. That's why the first trousers that were made had wide legs. An important milestone then was the 1970s, when the first women's trouser suit was designed and worn on theatre stages. Then came the First World War and after the end of the war, women started to wear costumes with wide trousers, it was also more and more common to see actresses wearing trousers in films. From the 1940s onwards, the popularity of trousers only grew and grew as designers began to use them in their collections of the time. In the second half of the 1950s, women put on jeans and it was off to the races! Pants suddenly became an important element of a woman's outfit and no one could say a word. And the girly side of the Footshop is thankful for that, because they can't imagine pants not being there.

But they are. Just like in our range, so choose from a variety of styles and colours from global brands. Try, for example, the women's jeans from Levi's, which have been on the market for a while now, or the cargo pants that have been attacking fashion trends for the last few years.
